Labels & folders

Keep your inbox under control with folders and labels. Folders hold your mail; labels are colour tags you can add on top for quick filtering.

Folders

Every mailbox starts with Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Starred, Spam and Trash. Unread counts show on the right of each.

• Create a folder from the sidebar (e.g. “Invoices”, “Clients”) and drag or move messages into it.
• Move a message with the move/folder action in the toolbar, or drag it onto a folder.

Labels

Labels are coloured tags. Unlike a folder, a message keeps its place but gains a tag you can spot at a glance and filter by. Create a label, give it a colour, then apply it to any message.

Star & archive

• Star a message to find it later under Starred.
• Archive clears it from the Inbox without deleting — it stays searchable.
