Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add a second step to your login so a stolen password isn't enough to get in. Turn it on under Security at https://account.syncgaze.in.
Turn it on
Open the profile menu (top-right) → Security → enable two-factor, then follow the prompts to link your method.
Choose a method
- Authenticator app (TOTP) — scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy or similar; it generates a fresh 6-digit code every 30 seconds.
- WhatsApp codes — we message a code to your verified number when you sign in.
Save your backup codesWhen you enable 2FA you get one-time backup codes. Store them somewhere safe — they're how you get in if you lose your phone. Without them, recovery takes longer.
At sign-in
After your password you'll be asked for a code. Enter the current code from your app, the WhatsApp code, or a backup code.
Lost your device
Use a backup code at the prompt. If you're out of codes, see Account recovery to verify your identity and reset 2FA.
