Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Add a second step to your login so a stolen password isn't enough to get in. Turn it on under Security at https://account.syncgaze.in.

Turn it on

Open the profile menu (top-right) → Security → enable two-factor, then follow the prompts to link your method.

Security → Authenticator App.

  1. 1QR code: scan it with Google Authenticator, Authy or a similar app.
  2. 2Key: type this into the app instead if you cannot scan.
  3. 3Verification Code: the 6-digit code the app shows.
  4. 4Verify & Enable: turns two-factor on for your account.

Choose a method

  • Authenticator app (TOTP): scan the QR code with Google Authenticator, Authy or similar; it generates a fresh 6-digit code every 30 seconds.
  • WhatsApp codes: we message a code to your verified number when you sign in.

Save your backup codesWhen you enable 2FA you get one-time backup codes. Store them somewhere safe: they're how you get in if you lose your phone. Without them, recovery takes longer.

At sign-in

After your password you'll be asked for a code. Enter the current code from your app, the WhatsApp code, or a backup code.

Lost your device

Use a backup code at the prompt. If you're out of codes, see Account recovery to verify your identity and reset 2FA.
