The webmail inbox.
- 1Folders — Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Starred, Spam and Trash, plus any folders you create. Unread counts show on the right.
- 2Search — find any message by sender, subject or text.
- 3Message list — a blue dot marks unread. Click a message to open it; hover for quick star/archive/delete.
- 4Compose — start a new email (also the big button top-left).
Write & send
Click Compose. Add recipients, a subject and your message; attach files with the paperclip. Send delivers it and keeps a copy in Sent.
- Cc / Bcc — reveal these with the toggle next to the To field.
- Attachments — click the paperclip or drag files onto the window.
- Drafts — anything unsent is saved automatically in Drafts; reopen to finish later.
- Reply / Reply all / Forward — buttons at the top of any open message.
Organise your mail
- Star a message to find it later under Starred.
- Move messages into folders you create (e.g. “Invoices”, “Clients”).
- Filters / rules (Settings → Filters) can auto-file, star or mark mail read based on sender or subject — set once and it applies to new mail.
- Signature and auto-reply / out-of-office live in Settings.
Spam & Trash
Suspected junk lands in Spam automatically. If something good ends up there, open it and mark Not spam to move it back and teach the filter. Deleted mail goes to Trash; emptying Trash removes it for good and frees up storage.
Common questions
| Problem | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A message isn't arriving | It may be in Spam, or filed by a rule. | Check Spam and your custom folders. Mark good senders Not spam so it doesn't repeat. |
| “Mailbox is full” / can't receive | You're at your storage limit. | Empty Trash and delete large attachments, or ask your admin to increase the mailbox's storage. |
| Can't send a large attachment | Over the size limit. | Share it as a link instead, or split the file into smaller parts. |
| Sent mail lands in recipients' spam | Your domain's DNS may be incomplete. | Ask your admin to confirm SPF/DKIM/DMARC are set — see the DNS solutions. |
