Sign in with your phone

Skip the password on a computer: approve the sign-in in the SyncGaze Mail app on your phone. Only the computer that asked gets signed in.

Scan the QR code

  1. On the sign-in page choose Sign in with your phone. A QR code appears.
  2. Scan it with your phone's camera. The SyncGaze app opens on Approve — check the browser, place and time, then tap Approve.
  3. The computer signs in by itself.

TimingThe QR code changes every 30 seconds until you scan it. The moment your phone opens it, the computer stops changing it (“Check your phone to approve”) and you get at least 2 minutes to approve. After about 5 minutes without a scan it pauses — click to reload.

Approve a notification

Type your email first, then choose Sign in with your phone. Every phone signed in to your account gets a notification; the computer shows a 2-digit number. Pick the same number in the app to approve. A wrong number cancels the request — that protects you from someone spamming approvals.

On the phone itself

Signing in to a website on the phone that has the app? Tap Open SyncGaze app instead of scanning.

Which phones

  • Android — SyncGaze Mail app, signed in to the account you want to approve with.
  • iPhone — the app is coming soon. Until then, approve with an Android phone or use your password.
