Security

Your password, two-factor and recovery options all live under Security at https://account.syncgaze.in: open it from the profile menu (top-right of any app).

Security: password, two-factor and recovery options.

  1. 1Password: click Change to set a new one.
  2. 2Authenticator app: turn on two-factor with Google Authenticator, Authy or a similar app.
  3. 3WhatsApp 2FA: get sign-in codes on WhatsApp instead.
  4. 4Recovery email: add a backup address and click Send Code to confirm it.

Password

Change your password here. Use at least 8 characters with an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter, a number and a symbol. Locked out instead? See Forgot password.

Two-factor

Turn on two-factor for a stronger login: an authenticator app (TOTP) or WhatsApp codes. Save your backup codes when you enable it. Full guide: Two-factor (MFA).

Security questions

Set security questions as an extra way to prove it's you if you're ever locked out.

Sessions & activity

Review where you're signed in and revoke anything you don't recognise under Sessions.

Keep your backup codesIf you lose your phone and don't have a backup code, recovery takes longer. Store the codes somewhere safe when you turn on 2FA.
