Aliases

An alias is an extra address that delivers into your existing mailbox — like sales@ or me+shopping@ — with no second inbox to check.

Add an alias

  • Open Settings → Aliases and add one. Premium mailboxes can have up to 5.
  • Mail sent to the alias arrives in your normal Inbox.
  • You can also send from an alias — pick it in the From selector when you compose.

Organisation-wide aliases

Shared addresses for a whole company — distribution groups, shared mailboxes and catch-all — are set by a tenant admin, not in your mailbox settings. See Aliases, groups & routing.

Alias vs forwardingAn alias delivers mail into your mailbox. Forwarding sends it on to a different address — set that up under Settings → Forwarding.
